HERS is a Kessler Trained Service and Repair Centre, also responsible for the sales activities of spare parts in the SADC region. Our technicians have received training directly from Kessler.

We are able to repair and refurbish Kessler planetary axles, wheel drives, and gearboxes for a variety of different applications including construction equipment, mobile cranes, material handling equipment and mining vehicles.

HERS is authorised to repair and refurbish Dana Spicer drivetrains parts. Dana Spicer serves the passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway markets, along with industrial and stationary equipment applications.

HERS supports the Off-Highway business unit which specialises in Drive and Motion Technologies.

Design is done using a computerised design and modelling system. All components are machined according to international ISO tolerance tables.

We repair and refurbish Drifters, Rotary Actuators and Impact Hammers across a wide range of brands in our fully equipped workshop.

Our World Class Workshops

Our operations are housed in a 6000 m², under roof workshop with more than 25-ton combined crane capacity. With a dedicated stripping bay and ten work bays, most of which are serviced by overhead cranes. There are also two testing bays consisting of an axle test bench where tests are carried out on completed repairs and two dynamometer test benches which allow for in house testing of transmissions.

We are well equipped workshop equipped with the finest machining tools and test benches to repair Drivetrain components, Drifters, Impact Hammers and Rotary Actuators to components to OEM specifications

Our Company

We have two main areas of focus – Off-highway Drivetrain and all Hydraulic Cylinders. We also service and repair drifters, as well as impact breakers. We service customers across Southern Africa from our well-equipped workshop in Gauteng, South Africa.

We are a Kessler Trained Service and Repair Centre for the service and sales activities of spare parts in Southern Africa. We are fully trained and equipped to repair and maintain Kessler drivetrain products.

HERS Hydraulics

We design and manufacture a range of Hydraulic Cylinders for customers in the mining, off-highway construction, material handling, plant hire, steel and airport and harbour markets. We repair and refurbish our own and a range of other brands. We also repair and refurbish a wide range of Drifters, Rotary Actuators and Impact Hammers.
